What to get a boy

Having a low key Friday night watching Julie & Julia (love Meryl Strep) and decided I could try and get a jump start on Christmas gift ideas for my Boyfriend. He never gives any hints as to what he wants...What to get a boy that I feel has everything? Maybe just an overload of his favorite, Ralph Lauren? Or perhaps a staple piece from The Portland Collection? At least he will be looking good, right? But really, any suggestions????!

Winter Wardrobe

I sometimes forget just how amazing H&M's clothing and prices are. Today I was browsing my usual sites...revolve, topshop, zara, need supply co., which are all amazing online stores, but when I saw the amazing sweaters, coats and scarves on H&M I felt compelled to run to the nearest mall and grab everything I could get my hands on. This winter I will be heading to beautiful Oregon and spending a WHITE Christmas with my boyfriend. This is my one and only excuse to load up on my winter wardrobe this year! Can't wait! :)

Fall Yummies

i love getting into the holiday spirit and sometimes get a little overboard, but i always love putting together a fun fall arrangement along with some yummy treats! Here is a step by step recipe to make rice krispie pumpkins!

My fun fall arrangement
Ingredients:
-mini Reese's for the inside of the pumpkin
-sour patch bites for the stem of the pumpkin
-6 cups of rice krispies
-3 tbsp. of butter
-4 cups of mini marshmellows
-orange food coloring

In a Large pan melt the butter on low, then add in the mellows and stir until completely melted.
After, put in the orange food coloring and then rice krispies.
Now add your chocolate treat in the middle of your pumpkin, and lastly put on your sour patch stem!

Here is the yummy finished product!

D.O.T.S.

via: http://fashiongonerogue.com/
I never use to be a huge fan of polka dots mainly because they were so bold, but lately I keep finding myself trying to incorporate them into my outfit. When wearing a strong print, you can keep the rest of your outfit simple and it will balance out the look. My favorites so far are high-waisted shorts with a simple crop top and a LBD with fun polk dot tights.

"Indie Spirit"

Kathryn and I have been obsessing over the newly launched Pendleton line, The Portland Collection. Pendleton Woolen Mills is one of the most authentic and oldest Pacific Northwest Companies. The collaboration comes from the president of Pendleton, Mort Bishop, and three Portland native designers. TPC depicts a strong sense of Indie fashion combined with the age old esthetic of Pendleton. It is so amazing, we both could not be more excited to own one of these amazing pieces. Treasure Hunting

Top & Pants: H&M, Ring: Belle Noel, Necklace: Vintage

Down Town San Pedro
Antique shopping has become a new hobby of mine and I almost always find something I fall in love with every time. As I was reading the newspaper with Cedar (yes, I still read the newspaper) I saw a small article about down town San Pedro. I decided I would go and check out one of my favorite Antique shops, Best of Times. Today I was looking for a vintage lamp to go along with a lamp shade I purchased at Anthropologie.  To me, this shop has it all; china sets, gorgeous table cloths, jewelry, clothes, books, old records, instruments, paintings and furniture pieces. I could spend hours in this store, but I only had an hour and a half on my car meter. I found a few lamp options that might work, but I want to come back and see if I find just the right treasure!
